Tainan - Golden Beach

Golden Beach on the outskirts of Tainan City is a popular spot for recreational anglers and bathers and is the home of the Tainan Kite Surfing Club. It's also the place to be during public holidays such as Mid Autumn Festival. Restaurants open up along the esplanade late in the afternoon and there are a number of vendors selling cold drinks, ice cream and hot dogs at the entrance to the beach.

Directions: Heading south on Jhong Hua West Road continue along State Highway #17

Further along State Highway #17, just past Cieding in Kaohsiung County you come to an active fish market at Shin Da Gang and just around a bit further is "Lovers Wharf". (Still under construction)
